AAZZUR completes incubation

AAZZUR has successfully completed its incubation period and is moving on to the acceleration phase.
The entire team spent several months working out of our start-up house in the Vienna Woods, getting nine months of work done in just three.

We developed our initial branding and design, did some validation work and spent a lot of time coding in our bid to bring you what we call “motivational banking”.
AAZZUR is a banking app that seeks to ask you, the customer, what you want to do and then help you achieve your financial goals.
We use artificial intelligence and a prediction engine to make banking more intuitive and give you more power over your money.
CEO Philipp Buschmann said: “The AAZZUR team achieved so much over such a short space of time. In addition to building a brand and vision for the company, we also built a culture of performance, honesty and creativity.”
Berlin-based AAZZUR was founded by Philipp and CFO Martin Damaske.
Philipp is a serial entrepreneur, specialising in financial services and resources. He has a particularly strong interest in behavioural economics, which helped inspire AAZZUR’s innovative relationship with the customer.
Meanwhile Martin started in physics before going on to setting up financial services companies. His extensive experience includes being a founding shareholder of Germany’s market leading loan brokerage platform and receiving a licence for a trading bank.
