AAZZUR has graduated from the F10 Prototype to Product (P2) accelerator programme, one of Switzerland’s top fintech schemes.
The Berlin-based firm completed the prestigious six-month programme after meeting graduation criteria which included having an in-demand minimum viable product, at least one customer or letter of intent, and sufficient capacity – both technical and financial – to execute a proof of concept.
AAZZUR, which is led by CEO Philipp Buschmann and CFO Martin Damaske, is creating a platform that connects banks with third-party insurance and insurtech providers to enable bancassurance in a digital age. We are also putting a particular emphasis on connecting services to the platform that promote sustainability, such as carbon emission offsets and green investments.
Banks, financial service providers and real-economy companies can thereby significantly expand their insurance services offering, while simultaneously enhancing their customer experience.
Having been just one of 16 firms selected from hundreds to join Batch V of the Zurich-based scheme last year, the AAZZUR team will now showcase their solution at Demo Day on August 18.
Of the original cohort, 11 companies have met, or are expected to meet, the graduation requirements to be bank ready, tech ready and company ready.
“It was an incredible honour to be chosen to be part of such a prestigious, and rigorous programme alongside an amazing set of other start-ups,” said Philipp.
“It is an amazing fintech accelerator to be part of and we’ve learned a lot along the way. We’d particularly like to thank our mentor Debbie and the other amazing staff and start-ups.
